Wealth Balancing

The fact is: we don’t know what road we’ll be on in the future.

We help you “nightmare-proof” your future by installing guardrails on each possible path you may find yourself on.

Your job isn’t to know all the answers. As humans we’re designed to get better results by working together.

Our motto is “Together we’re better.” We know that by working together and maintaing our connection over time, we’ll produce the best possible worry-free support for you. So you can focus on what you’re here to do – knowing that we have your back and that you’ve met your responsibility to plan and protect your legacy.

OBJECTIONS TO PLANNING:

Many clients feel resistance to the idea of writing their will or planning their estate. This is normal, because these feelings come up when we think about the possibility of dying.

Each lawyer here has felt the exact same thing in our own lives.

But in fact – if you give it a chance, you’ll quickly find what everyone else who’s felt this initial resistance experienced. They soon found that the process is a supportive and uplifting one.

The main take-aways people experience for our process are: peace of mind, a feeling of protection, a feeling of integrity and accomplishment, a reconnection to the meanings driving their lives and a general sense of relief.

+ Can you explain probate in simple terms?
Probate is the group of laws that society follows in determining the ownership, control and guardianship of a person’s assets and people in their lives.
+ What’s the difference between a will and a trust?
A will is a letter to the Judge in a probate case, telling the Judge how you want him to disperse your assets.

A trust avoids probate and sets up in advance the instructions your representatives will follow. With a properly crafted and funded trust you will avoid the expense and delay of probate!
+ What is “Elder Law”?
Elder law describes the area of law centered on the issues that senior citizens face during the decades of their 60’s, 70’s 80’s and beyond. It combines estate planning, familiarity with medicaid and medicare, asset protection, and other areas of focus to protect the client.
